42" x 6" x 1.5" Class 3 Full Taper & Polish Forklift Forks (Pair)
The short, nimble end of the Class 3 full taper line. At 42", this fork is for tight aisles, trailer loading, and shops where a 48" blade keeps catching the next stack over. The 6" wide section is the narrowest Class 3 FTP we stock, which makes it the pick for bundled steel, tubing, and stacked pallets of bagged product where you need to get between loads, not just under them.
Full taper & polish means the blade thins from heel to tip and the top face is polished smooth. That's what lets it slide under unpalletized material — plate, sheet, bar stock — instead of shoving it. A standard taper 42" Class 3 fork costs less if everything you lift is on a pallet; this is the fork for when it isn't.
Rated 8,000 lb per pair at a 24" load center on a 1.5" thick blade, which covers most 6,000 to 8,000 lb trucks with margin. Need more? The 7" x 1.5" (9,600 lb) and 8" x 1.5" (10,800 lb) Class 3 FTP sections fit the same 20" carriage. Longer loads: the same section comes in 48", 60", and 72".
