Class III - Standard Forks
Class 3 standard taper forklift forks fit the 6,000 to 10,000 lb trucks that handle heavier pallets, coils, and machinery in warehouses, steel yards, and manufacturing plants. Standard taper means the blade tapers only near the tip — the right shape for pallet and racking work, and less expensive than a full taper fork.
Fits any ITA Class III carriage
Class 3 carriages measure 20" bar to bar. The carriage sets the class, not the truck's rated capacity, so measure yours before ordering. Not sure? Read what class fork do I need or how to measure forklift forks.
Three blade sections, 8,200 to 12,600 lb per pair
Each length comes in 5" x 1.75", 5" x 2", and 6" x 2". The 5" x 1.75" section covers most 6,000 to 8,000 lb trucks; step up to 5" x 2" or 6" x 2" for 10,000 lb class trucks or if you regularly run at rated load. Capacities are at a 24" load center — check the forklift fork capacity chart for longer load centers.
Lengths from 42" to 72", plus extended lengths below
48" covers a standard pallet. 60" and 72" are for double-stacked pallets, lumber units, coils, and long machinery bases. A fork should reach at least two-thirds of the way under the load.
Standard taper or full taper?
Standard taper is the right call for pallets and racking. If you routinely slide under unpalletized flat loads — plywood, drywall, steel plate — look at Class III full taper & polish forks, or read the standard taper vs full taper comparison.
Every pair is sold as a matched set, meets or exceeds OEM specifications, and carries a 1-year warranty. Shop Class III standard forks by length below.
