Class II - Standard Forklift Forks

Class 2 standard taper forklift forks are the workhorse fork for the most common truck on the floor: the 3,000 to 5,500 lb sit-down counterbalance. Standard taper means the blade tapers only near the tip, which is the right shape for palletized freight, racking, and dock work — and it costs less than a full taper fork. If your truck moves pallets all day, this is the page.

Fits any ITA Class II carriage

Class 2 carriages measure 16" bar to bar. The carriage sets the class, not the truck's nameplate capacity, so measure yours before ordering. Not sure? Read what class fork do I need or how to measure forklift forks.

Six blade sections, 4,000 to 8,400 lb per pair

Each length comes in 4" x 1.25", 4" x 1.5", 4" x 1.75", 4" x 2", 5" x 1.5", and 5" x 1.75". Thickness drives capacity; width adds bearing surface. Match the section to the forks coming off the truck, or size up one step if you regularly run at the truck's rated load. Capacities are at a 24" load center — check the forklift fork capacity chart for longer load centers.

Lengths from 42" to 72", plus extended lengths below

48" covers a standard 48" pallet. Go to 60" or 72" for double-stacked pallets, lumber units, or anything that hangs past four feet. A fork should reach at least two-thirds of the way under the load.

Standard taper or full taper?

Standard taper is the right call for pallets and racking. If you routinely slide under unpalletized flat loads — plywood, drywall, steel plate — look at Class II full taper & polish forks, or read the standard taper vs full taper comparison.

Every pair is sold as a matched set, meets or exceeds OEM specifications, and carries a 1-year warranty. Shop Class II standard forks by length below.
