Class II - FTP Forks

Class 2 full taper & polish (FTP) forks put a smooth, tapered blade on the most common forklift carriage in the country. The blade thins from heel to tip and is polished on top, so it slides under flat-stacked lumber, plywood, drywall, sheet metal, and bagged goods without a pallet or a pry bar. If your 3,000 to 6,000 lb truck spends time in a lumber yard, a millwork shop, or a building-supply warehouse, this is the fork to put on it.

Fits any ITA Class II carriage

Class 2 carriages measure 16" bar to bar — the standard on most sit-down counterbalance trucks in the 3,000 to 5,500 lb range. Measure yours before ordering; the carriage sets the class, not the truck's nameplate. Not sure? Read what class fork do I need or how to measure forklift forks.

Four blade sections, 5,500 to 8,200 lb per pair

Every length below comes in 4" x 1.5", 4" x 1.75", 5" x 1.5", and 5" x 1.75". The 5" wide sections give a flat stack more bearing surface and are the usual pick for plywood and OSB units. Capacities are rated at a 24" load center; on long loads, derate for the real load center using the forklift fork capacity chart.

Lengths from 42" to 72"

Pick the length that reaches at least two-thirds of the way under your longest common load. A 48" fork covers standard pallets; 60" and 72" are for lumber units and doubled sheet-good loads. Need longer? See the lumber & plywood forks page.

Standard taper or full taper?
