Class IV - Standard Forks
Class 4 standard taper forklift forks are for 10,000 to 17,500 lb trucks moving structural steel, die sets, coils, and heavy machinery. Standard taper means the blade tapers only near the tip — the right shape for palletized and skidded loads, and less expensive than a full taper fork.

Three blade sections, 12,600 to 21,400 lb per pair
Each length comes in 6" x 2", 6" x 2.25", and 6" x 2.5". All three are 6" wide; thickness is what moves the capacity from 12,600 up to 21,400 lb. Pick the section that matches the forks coming off the truck, or step up one if you regularly run at rated load. Capacities are at a 24" load center — on long loads, derate using the forklift fork capacity chart.
Lengths from 42" to 72", plus extended lengths below
48" covers a standard pallet. 60" and 72" are for doubled pallets, long machinery bases, and steel bundles. A fork should reach at least two-thirds of the way under the load.
Standard taper or full taper?
