60" x 8" x 1.5" Class 3 Full Taper & Polish Forklift Forks (Pair)

The widest blade in our Class 3 full taper line. At 8" across, this fork is built for plywood, OSB, drywall, and lumber units — loads that need bearing surface more than raw thickness, and that you're picking up off the floor without a pallet. The blade tapers from heel to tip and is polished on the top face, so it works under a flat stack without a pry bar or a second operator lifting the corner.

Five feet of length puts the tip well past the center of an 8-foot sheet-good unit, which is the length you want for full lumber and plywood packs on a 6,000 to 10,000 lb truck. If you mostly handle 48" pallets, the 42" or 48" version of this section is cheaper and easier to maneuver in racking; if your loads run past 8 feet, step up to the 72" length.

This is a 1.5" thick blade rated 10,800 lb per pair at a 24" load center. On a six-foot load the real load center is closer to 36", so derate using the forklift fork capacity chart before lifting at the top of the range. The 6" x 1.5" and 7" x 1.5" Class 3 FTP sections use the same thickness and carriage; pick the 8" when the load is wide, flat, and fragile at the edges.
